My 67 apparently has 68 doors on it, and the square holes for the clips that the screws go into are in the wrong location to make it work with the 67 door panel (also it puts the rest a bit too far back).

Has anyone else encountered this and figured out a clever fix?

All I can think of is to drill pilot holes in the right location and then attempt to square them with a saw or file, but I can't help but think that someone here has come up with a better/easier way.

Thanks

Well, you could just drill a hole and screw it in, but your description is pretty much on the mark. If you measure carefully, it might take a whole half-hour.

Thanks. I mostly want to avoid messing it up, so the measure carefully part is key.

I just drilled the holes and screwed them in.
