ARRRGGHH!!! Can't Roll Up Driver side Window

Help!, can't roll up driver side window, passenger side is ok, was working ok.

Any suggestions?

this happened to me on my old v6. I took it to the dealership and they said it was a fk'd up motor.

Same exact thing happened to me in my old V6..... dealership fixed it for free but they had to replace glass cause motor arm snapped in mid window roll-up and it fell into the door and shattered... good times in the old 3.8.... Mark

Had that happen with passenger side. It was fixed under warranty by new glass and motor (the arms are glued on the glass and mine "came off"

I had the same thing, only happened once, magically fixed itself two hours later. Never happened again.

Had the same thing happen to me this past summer. Tried to fix it myself, don't try this, and ended up replacing the window and motor.

Happened to me after 3 weeks of owning my car. I took it apart and tried to fix it, but it was the motor. Ford had to replace it.
Got o the dealer. Good luck.

Silicone lubricant on the edge wipes of the window will stop the squeaks. But if the window consistently doesn't go up and down or the one-touch doesn't work, you should go back to the dealer and insist that they fix it (if its still under warantee).

that happens when the car has been exposed to high heat or direct sunlight on the driver door. the window relay gets overheated, solution park the car in a cool shaded area for a few hours, i always just go home and park in the garage till it cools off, the dealer called themselves fixing it last summer but the problem came back a few days ago. gonna go to the dealer and buy a spare window relay so if it happens again i won't have to cut my day short cuz i can't let the window up on my 02 gt conv
