Just wanted to vent. This weather is unbelievable.
Seriously, though. I guess it's time to do some interior work. My goal for next week (yes, it's expected to rain that long) is to pick up a new set of seats and build a rear seat replacement. (I'm figuring plywood and black indoor/outdoor carpeting.) If I get really ambitious, I'll build a set of subwoofer enclosures that straddle the transmission hump.
My understanding is that the Fox and Escort seats (80's T-bird, too?) swap in on the existing rails. Anybody use those nifty little ricer racing seats? I want something that will fully recline
but that will be easy to take out when it comes time to wire in a new stereo. And that will be comfortable for, uh, evenings out, if you get my meaning. EBay has racing seats by the pair for about $200 incl. shipping, which is about the going rate for a good pair of seats from a wrecking yard. Thoughts?
