:fuss:

Just wanted to vent. This weather is unbelievable. :bang:

Seriously, though. I guess it's time to do some interior work. My goal for next week (yes, it's expected to rain that long) is to pick up a new set of seats and build a rear seat replacement. (I'm figuring plywood and black indoor/outdoor carpeting.) If I get really ambitious, I'll build a set of subwoofer enclosures that straddle the transmission hump.

My understanding is that the Fox and Escort seats (80's T-bird, too?) swap in on the existing rails. Anybody use those nifty little ricer racing seats? I want something that will fully recline :spot: but that will be easy to take out when it comes time to wire in a new stereo. And that will be comfortable for, uh, evenings out, if you get my meaning. EBay has racing seats by the pair for about $200 incl. shipping, which is about the going rate for a good pair of seats from a wrecking yard. Thoughts?

And actually, the summers are beautiful, here. In the 80's, clear skies, sunshine, birds in the trees. The kind of weather that Southern California claims to have. It's one of our secrets; it only rains 200 days a year up here, not 364 as we like everyone to believe. :P

EDIT: Those 200 days of rain are usually all in row, however. From November through Mid-May. No joke; I've heard weather forecasters saying, "Rain this morning, turning to showers this afternoon, with partial clearing by June."
