I'm not sure if I can make it - I'll know sometime Saturday. I have a TON of cleaning to do.......an 18 wheeler blew something in his motor in front of me on Rt. 24 last night - the entire car is covered with oil. What a pain in the ass cleaning it off........

Good to hear Jim! You are right next door to me in Taunton now. I'm not sure of the next meet yet...i am trying to dream up some new fun ideas for cruises/activities. I am thinking of a cruise/minigolf event....figure its a good time for everyone and its family-friendly. I'll keep you all updated...feel free to put out some other ideas. I know NEBOC is having their big cruise on June 19th, but we can do something else to tide us over until then

Doesn't look like the painting is going to be done anytime soon, I'm going to have to go to the meets with the door looking like crap I guess.
Hopefully I can get my UPR pipe on before the next meet...probably do it this weekend. Gotta get my car inspected this week..expired in april

Yeah i hear that. I took my car through the Taunton Green, once. From now on i'll remember to bring my Explorer through it....only because it has four wheel drive. lol. 138 is no better...i live right around the corner from Henry's Rootbeer Stand. East Taunton/Berkley area is real nice for driving though. We should hook up for a cruise or something.

hey guys just wanted to let you guys know that the star drive in near st yves nissan in berkley has a car cruise every thursday night i cant make it cuz i work nights but i figured i would let you guys know hope to see you guys a sams club sunday

I went to the Star Drive-In a few times...
That is one place that did NOT like late model cars... I parked each time in the "dirt" along side vehicles like new vettes,hummers and even an RT10 viper... They only let the "classics" park in the parking lot.. The only thing that was worth seeing there was the Flame Show with a few of the classics..
I've also heard that within the last year they might have moved the event from the original drive-in to somewhere else. If anyone knows the current situation as being better than what I experienced before than let me know and I might consider another run out that way..
Not to stray too far off the subject of Taunton area events.. Has anyone gone to the Easton Voc High School this year for cruise/shows (every other thursday) ?? That's one place I would not mind going out to again.. Lot's of real Muscle and a fair amount of late model's all having fun .. We could get a crew together for that one and usually there's always a good area to park a crew of stangs.. VERY BIG PARKING LOT..

Do you mean the show on thursdays at Southeastern Regional Highschool in Easton? My gf and I went a few weeks ago. A good variety of different cars there. I would love to get a group up there. The only thing is, you have to get up there early on to ensure a spot. I usually starts at 5pm. I have the schedule here and its every other Thursday, next show is on June 10th. Let me know what you guys think about that...maybe after we can get a bite to eat or something.
