Sam's This Sunday Anyone?

Hey guys...i am dying to do a show...its been a long time coming with my whole wheel fiasco, and me having to miss out on the Rodman show. Anyhow, anyone interested in doing Sam's this Sunday? I would like to get a head-count and see if it will be worthwhile. As some of you know, my girl just got a droptop GT and she wants to join us. Please post if you are interested.

P.S. Jim, tool worked like a champ, only for me to find out that it is basically rocket science trying to put an aftermarket head unit into the existing Mach 460 speaker/amp setup. Think i am going to let a proffessional do this. Anyone know how to do this, i'll pay ya! I am an engine guy, not a stereo guy lol. :D

hey importeater, if u want PM me i can toss your radio in for ya , i am right down 24 in braintree and i could maybe meet you at the westgate mall in brockton sometime after work ... as long as u didnt cut any of the factory wiring i can put it in your car in about 15 mintues tops .... let me know if u want more then a radio done i can do that also ... this is what i do all day stereo stuff .... can wire up you car to do anything with 12v but not good working on motors .

I'll try to make it to Sam's club Sunday as well. right now it's a 50/50 chance ..

Also, what was the buzz of a good car show (not cruise) this Sunday 7/25 in Bellingham Ma ?? Anyone else hear about this show while at Rodman last Sunday ?

Hey mystic, i've heard that if you are using the Mach 460 speaker system/amps, you have to run a high and low band crossover, and run bass-blockers to the door mounted tweeters or it will sound like shyt. Its this true? How much to do the job for me? Or maybe you have a car you want detailed....i do that on the side. Let me know.

I've never heard of anything like that :shrug: A freind of mine has a '94 Cobra with the Mach system, and to my knowledge her stereo is wired in just like any other....

It's really simple to do, but I guess having a good hand in soldering helps :p

If you need help, I'll help you man.....just let me know

Yeah i think the show is off for tomorrow. Its going to rain until sometime next week. Ugh. Chris, I may take you up on that, because i am absolutely clueless about stereos. Give me a block, i'll build ya an engine...give me a stereo....well....i am at the mercy of the installers at best buy. LOL.

hey importeater, i run my 96 with all the stock Mach System with my Alpine TV and DVD and it sounds just like my home theater system ....if u want toss me a 20bucks and i will toss it in for you ....let me know send me a PM as i dont get a notice that u replied to this thread and i can do it whenever not sure what u are doing today but if u are around PM cause i will have u come to my work
