I need some advice on tuning a autolite 1100.

I just did all the brakes and front suspension on my buddy's 66. And he asks me to mess with his carb. He said he has messed with it like crazy. Watched a video but I can't get it right and his choke adjustment seems off.

But what do I know? Lol first Ford carb I've messed with. I can adjust my Chevy one perfectly but this one has me stumped.

It was new with engine rebuild 6 years ago.

Matt_50, go to Vintage Inlines or the old Classic Inlines site for 1100 carb info. Several on-line site have lots of info on this carb. A solid carb but gets switched out by chevy guys not understanding how it works with the MATCHED distributor. Too much to list here.

Got it figured out, adjusted carb by following multiple videos and I pulled choke cap off and started that all over. The gasket fell apart, got a new one and told my buddy not to twist it anymore. Starts and idles beautifully now.

Mind linking the videos? OR Pm'ing them? I'm having trouble with mine as well.
