Hi guys,

I found a used & cheap Autometer tachometer. I'm wondering if the ignition coil, 12V dash lightning and switched 12V are easily accessible on the '99-'04 GT?

It's this model: http://www.prostreetonline.com/sku/2309.html
I've attached a wiring diagram.

Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Yan

you will also need to install a tach driver for it to work. I would also get a UPR tach bracket so you dont have to drill holes in your dash. you can get both from 50resto.com. James

Its not hard at all. You can hook up the tach face light to your dash light dimmer/headlight knob. Also make sure you shrink wrap the tach driver wires to your coil wire real good. The autometer tach driver mounts to a screw in the firewall as well on the passanger side. Good luck.

Pretty sure its the small gray wire...

Or you can just use a fuse tap and tap into fuse #37 dimmer and fuse #4 12V. That way you are not cutting wires....

Answered and asked (yeah, in that (reverse) order )
You need a tach driver.
