Who has one, and what is your oil pressure at idle, and a 2000 rpm cruise? Mine is at 15 to 20psi at idle and 20 to 25psi at 2000 rpm on a warm engine. I just want to know if my oil pressure is too low and what yours is to compare. thanks

have the same gage.....mine holds about 45 at idle and around 60 at 2000

On a HOT idle mine is around 30-35 and at 2000rpms it is around 40-45.

I have 140k on the engine. Warm idle 25psi, warm cruise 50psi.

In my book it says 60 psi at 2000 rpm on a warm engine..Just wanted to be sure I have a problem before I get a new short block

Yea, I think 60psi is a touch high. I mean nothing is wrong with running 60psi of pressure, but I have never seen a 5L with that much pressure under 2K rpms. The rule of thumb is 10psi for every 1000 rpms.

I run 50 at cold start up.

Other than that it varies from 30 to 60's (havent noticed the EXACT OP at different RPM's.) Haven seen much of 25 tho.
