I have an "autogauge" autometer tach. Everything seems hooked up fine. I have the ground hooked up,the tach feed that goes into the coil wire splinced into the coil wire, the light on a switched circut in the fuse box and same with the red power wire that I'm assuming powers it up.
Now it seems to work fine at first but when I have the ignition on (like to set the shift light rpm) the tach needle bounces around and after awhile "forgets" what rpm i set the shift light for.As of right now I have the red wire disconnected because I dont want the needle to bounce around all night. Anyone what can cause this??
