i took this rear end out of a 97 cobra , but it looks like its been changed before,
can someone look this code up to see if its a 97 , or its is out of a 99/04 possibly?
i think the 97 had a narrower rear end i think , by 3/4 inch i think ? per side
it has the big cobra brakes on it
is this going to cause a problem with inside tire clearance , with the 17x10.5 after market cobra wheels?
and will i have to do away with the quad shocks.?

also if i was to run some weld wheels on it , what size rim would i need to clear the rear cobra brakes. if i decide to go that route.
im guessing that the 209E code its got a white band arounf the right side of the axle housing. is that the code btw?
