Background: I am doing and SRA swap into my 2003 Cobra. I pulled an SRA out of a wrecked 99GT. I had the axle built at a shop down in San Diego. Detroit Tru Track, 3.73 gears, Moser 31 spline axles, welded tubes, new bearings and seals throughout. Axle is all installed and I lastly went to bolt up the brakes. I am using my Cobra brackets and calipers and bolting up to the GT brackets and using GT rotors. Passenger side went together just fine. Drivers side the bracket is making direct contact with the rotor. I pulled the rotors off both sides and measured the distance from the axle housing to the edge of the moser axle. The drivers side is a little over a 1/4 in further out than the passengers which is causing the contact issue. Why would this happen? Im pretty confused here. Anyone hear of this before?
