it was only just a thought. i'm also thinking of pulling the motor and tranny out selling the body and reinstalling the motor combo into an 86 fox body and build it into a road course kickin car. just tired of the limitations of the II.

Fox chassis is definitely easier to swap in a big block, and aftermarket parts are everywhere. But then your car will be just one of hundreds of thousands of similar cars.

well i'll start with the darn motor mounts, cant find them for a good price. the wheel well openings, been looking for some type of fender flair in order to get the radius look. would love to run the 17x9 wheels like on a fox body. the II is very front heavy for road course racing or even solo 2 events.an aluminum rad for the II would cost an arm and a leg. front springs i can find but front shocks for any type of performance are very hard to find. with the motor combo in her right now she pulls away from the newer GT's but when it comes to any turns i'm all over the place, and yes i do have front and rear sway bars and front eibach springs just to nose heavy.not to mention the header selection we have . i've had fun with car and especially the looks i get with the 4" cowl hood on it. just thought of trying the 86 fox body now thats all. many after market parts for them.
