I thought I solved my problem of a bent axle by ordering set of axles and 3.73 gears from steeda online. After placing the order the delivery changed from 4-5 days to 2 weeks. I have found a speed shop that can get me axles and gears from Ford Racing. I would like to go with the steeda's but I can't wait two weeks
cuz I have to drive 1,000 miles back to Ontario next week.

Question is FRPP as good or better than steeda. Would anyone here drive 1,000 miles with a bent axle. I have visions of my tire and axle flying out as I cruise down the highway. There is no leak from the axle but the faster I go the more I feel the vibration.

As usual all advice appreciated.

This doesn't really answer your question, but, I would get a set of Moser axles, they come with extra long wheel studs if you ever plan on running Weld wheels. BB&T had mine shipped to me in 2 days.

Have you tried summit?

I would see what they have and they can definitely do better than the 2 weeks...

I would get what you can get and the cheapest. And I wouldent be suprised if the steeda and ford axels were moser axles anyway.

PM killercanary, he has direct experience with axles, and can tell you which ones are holding up to the abuse (and surely he abuses them at least as much as anyone else ever has... ).

First place I went was summitracing and found superior axles for a good price. $249. They are in Ohio and the website does'nt specify delivery to Canada.
I was worried that by the time they arrived there'd be duty slapped on them or something. I am sticking with steeda and having them delivered to Ontario. The steeda axles are about $300. There is no leak in the axles so I'll take it easy and
drive back to Ontario and have everything installed in Ontario.

If anybody knows if duties are slapped on car parts crossing the border or if they've had problems let me know. If not I'd like to order from summiy they have
a lot stuff I'd like to get. with good prices.
Thanks everyone.

Same as I had. Very though. Great construction. Comes with studs, new bearings, seals. Highly recommend them.
