these are my mods SO FAR :nice:
255lph pump is in the mail and i use a LM-1 wide band o2 kit for tuning so a/f ratio wont problem
i still have the stock cam and know its time for a better one. i live in california and have to pass smog (yes i know i have no cats and the smog pump bypassed) that will have to be changed for the test of course. i know of people who pass with b-cams and think i can to. ive always planned to run a e-cam but now question this idea. what would the hp gains for each cam be in my application. obviously know one knows for sure but an educated guess would be nice. anybody here pass smog with b-cam?
thanks guys

man that car sounds like a beast!
You might look at a Trick flow stage 2 cam..... they say they are too much for a stock head/intake car.... but your car seems up for the cam and i hear its lope is really awesome

Why have all those parts in the car (especially the AFR 165's) and limit yourself to those single pattern FMS cams. There are a lot better off the shelf cams out there....like the Comp Cams XE270HR for example :)
why yesss...the XE270HR maverick..I have heard good things about this cam..good choice. In response to the stage 2 cam proposed by Foxfan...little too much for a street driven car and NEVER be emissions freindly, also not compatable with stock pistons..will def be clearance problems

do you guys have summit part numbers off chance? i cant find either of those cams anywhere in the catalog! :bang:
the reason i am sort of sticking near fms cams is cause of smog. if i didnt have to pass smog id have a custom grind with a wicked idle.

so im hearing good things for the e-cam. any hp guestamations?

Ford claims 5+ hp for the B cam over the E cam because of the longer duration. I like my B cam, but some time in the future I plan on upgrading to a TFS stage 1.
