I would like to know from someone who is running a B303 cam in a speed density car what they had to do to get it to work. There has to be someone who got around doing a mass air conversion. let me know guys its driving me nuts!
not a good idea..besides the B cam is really not all that hot, there are SD cams that will actually make power and keep drivabilty. The conversion to mass air was the best addition I have made, it allowed me to choose any combination of parts I desired...I recomend it if you want to upgrade. Should also note the B cam with stock heads will be a complete disapointment for you.
My heads are ported and polished. I want to add a cobra intake to it for one of my next mods. The car has lots of power but i doesnt want to stay running after a warm start, like if im running errands, its hard to back out of a parking spot and leave cause everytime i push in the clutch and let off the gas it dies.
Sorry I thought you were considering a B cam didn't read that you actually HAD it already. There really is nothing you can do but continue to try the idle set screw to see if you can find a happy spot. You may have to settle for a higher idle to ensure it will run. I would seriously consider removal of the cam, or conversion to mass air.
