just came back from the track. fair day so cant complain about the weather. still complain about the track though. i just dont think they prep it very well.
Best run:
R/T......... .271
60'......... 2.080 <<<<---on slicks,3.73's and 400ft/lbs
330........ 5.566
1/8........ 8.390
MPG....... 87.22
1000...... 10.817
1/4........ 12.836
MPH...... 112.35

well thats it. pulled pretty good when the boost came in but the end 1/8 was pretty slow. i have an AOD so that didnt help because it doesnt shift quite as fast as a manual and i cant launch at 5000rpm like a manual.

i have a 4" intake for the s/c in the mail and also a methanol boost cooler kit that should be here soon. hopefully with a cooler charge i can run more timing safely. hope to get into the 480rwhp range
my second run which is hardly worth mentioning i ran 13 flat with a 2.222 60'. spun the tires pretty bad that time, more then the first

1.6 is pushing it, but 1.7-1.8 would improve your times drastically. With that kind of mph you should definitly be low 12's.

im running hoosier's. i also think that my limited slip from an explorer is hurting me too. id like to get an eaton or auburn so i can get better traction and better burnouts. the second run i was fighting it with the car to keep it going in straight line. if i get my piece of 4" pipe before the next track day ill go again and see if i can shave some time off. really looking forward to my methanol kit because im sure boost heat is killing power as well. and i hate having my base timing at 10*

was this at fontana? i ran today there for the first time... i hated it, i always pull 1.75's and 8.5's at irwindale, awsome track prep, fontana sucked, could be i'm not used to it, but i went 1.88 60' 8.8 1/8th and 13.8 1/4 @ 98, dissapointing to say the least
