We are heading back to the track with the coupe again.
Its been a while since I've stayed up 2 nights in a row all night, but anyway.
I changed the cylinder last night and currently the car has a 100% long block including stock short runner intake, stock head, stock E6.
The only mods are underdrives, 3" exhaust, Kirban FPR, Walbro 255 High pressure, and small things I'm leaving out.

The V8 cars in the area with pullies and exhaust run about 9.4-9.6 in the 1/8th.
The cars best so far is 9.68 @ 73.2 MPH We'll see what happens.

anyway.......
I finally learned how to drive. Except I didn't want to over do it so I only drove really well once.

First run was a 10.something. I finished putting the car back together at 7:30 this morning so I wasn't out to break it on the first pass, even still I blew 2 vacuum caps off and the intercooler hose clamp let go.

Second.
RT .530
60' 2.114
330 6.266
1/8 9.806
MPH 69.48

third
RT .641
60' 2.196
330 6.332
1/8 9.885
MPH 69.00

final
RT .813
60' 2.088
330 6.146
1/8 9.691
MPH 68.90

Its funny the first and last runs were by myself. The middle 2 were against the same GT. Notice the difference in reaction times when I have someone to run against.

first 3 were made with 15psi the last was made with 18psi.
I did have a bunch of stupid things opposing me.
10* timing, premium fuel switch wired but running 89 octane.... and to top it off. I left the knock sensor hooked up.
The last run got me my best 60ft, 330, and ET, but the worst MPH. third gear didn't pull much at all.
My 60ft and 330 matched a 302 LX running 9.10's.

Any good thoughts on where the heck my other 4mph went to?

hell I leave my knock sensor plugged in most of the time. my last dyno pull at 218rwhp and 300.5 rwtq, I had my sensor plugged in.
I had my sensor plugged in when I ran the 14.6 @96mph with just a exhaust and gutted upper intake.

I didn't have my knock sensor plugged in whenever my headgasket blew
no but really I just leave it plugged in for normal driving because it doesn't really bother me. If i'm going for the big power and fast times, i'll pull it.

Its easy to see where my time went.
Your best slip posted:
60 2.183
330 6.187
1/8 9.524
mph 72.78

My best:
60 2.088
330 6.146 (we're even to here, and then bye cro your gone)
1/8 9.691
mph 68.90

The Gt I raced, even after he was moving I pulled away all the way through 2nd and third used to be the killer gear. A while back I raced this same car on the street from a roll. He was in second and I was in third and after it spooled I left him sit. Now its just, *click* blaaaaahhhhhhhh not much else though.

Also how much base fuel pressure are you guys running both. KOEO and at idle?
What kind A/F gauges do you have and what are they reading on a hard run through third gear?

I was at 39 psi, we checked right when I showed up in town, an hour before
we raced. My A/F showed the first and second green at wot in all gears.

I was at 40psi and I was 2 bars in the green. So I should be ok there.

EDIT: I just figured it out. I'm having all these problems because of things like posting at 4:40 AM and this is about the earliest I've gotten in all week.
