Back up Lamp Switch

K guys, I want my reverse lights to work. I'm 95% sure my back up lamp switch is missing. Where would it be? How can I check for it? How do i install a new one... I have a 66 coupe automatic. Stock trans. Stock engine. Pics would mean soo much.

Suki, I have a 3 speed manual, that had a brass push button type switch, that was depressed when shifted into reverse. I put a later model c4 in, and tied the switch up out of the way. The factory auto probably had someting similar on the shift rod assembly. Hope this helps.

Neutral safety switch on the LH side of the trans where the shift linkage is. THere was just a thread about this I think.
