I have a 69 with a T-5 I don't currently have back up lights and was wondering if anyone had this setup with functional lights not using a toggle switch.

Driver's side of transmission- 2 pronged switch. Looks like a small mushroom.

The switch is as describes as the two-prong switch on the driver’s side of the T5. I found it best to salvage a plug from a donor car and then tie it into your harness. Mine has worked flawlessly. To verify the switch is working just jumper the two reverse light wires. They should come on.

I have been looking for a schematic for my neutral safety/rev light harness. Can't seem to find it. I have the Ford 5 book manuals so if it is in there could someone tell me where? Four wires but they were spliced together years ago when there was a bad switch on the then c-4. Thanks, David

I USED TWO INSTRUMENT SENSOR SNAP ON ENDS TO ATTACH MY REVERRSE LIGHTS TO THE T-5.YOU DO HAVE TO DRILL THEM OUT SLIGHTLY TO FIT THO AS THE T-5 TERMINALS ARE A TAD LARGER THEN SENSOR POSTS.FOR THE NEUTRAL SAFETY I USED A ALWAYS OFF PULL SWITCH FROM A TRACTOR SHOP RIVETED IT TO THE CLUTCH ARM UP HIGH THEN ATTACED TO THE FIREWALL WITH A LIGHT SPRING SO THE PEDAL MUST BE IN TO START THE CAR.

I went to the junkyard and for $2.99 I got the harnesses I needed and spliced them in and I have power and everything on the back up lights. The only problem is finding an 1142 lamp. Autozone doesn't carry them so I suppose Kragen doesn't either. The neutral safety witch is working as well. I put the car in neutral and bang it starts right up. Any other place in the shift pattern and NOPE! Thanks for your help guys.

the connection for your neutral safety switch is on the firewall inside engine compartment. Check to see if there are four wires going to it and that they aren't spliced together. That was my problem.
