One could argue that it was a good day at the track, pretty amazing that car wasn't destroyed by the wall.

I saw that happen with a set of racecrafts too. Well, only 1 side broke, but it damaged the fender pretty bad.

It looks like the right one gives way at first after his wheels come down the first time. I think he let up slightly when the fronts go up and then hit WOT. That's when the right snaps (lca bolt? lca?) and the left side is still pushing the car causing the left front to come up. He lets off a little again, but not all the way by any means. When he lets up that second time, that right rear whips into the right 1/4 locking it up and poof! American Grafitti.

The RR wheel looks tweaked as would be expected from such a failure.

At least that's my guess......
