as we all know here obd1's have 2 o2 sensors and if one is malfunctioning it will cause a drop in gas mileage what exactally are you saying 215what? you may need to do a search and state the facts if your saying a bad o2 sensor will not cause a drop in gas mileage on an obd1 system!

I think he's saying that autozone won't pull codes for an OBD-I car.

The OBD-I retrieval is hit or miss, and seems to be regional. Quite a few guys here have had OBD-I codes pulled, but I once asked and they would not. My Sis has an EEC-IV Ford and they pulled them for her. Maybe I'm not pretty enough.

They pull OBD I codes here at Advance Auto Parts.

And I wish I knew what kind of gas miledge I get. My odo and trip meter have been broken since I got the car.

I drive to school 7 times a week and can make 3-4 trips on a single tank, depending on how much I drive at home.
It sucks. But as I always say, you gotta pay to play.

Ummm. I was a little upset that I get "only" 240-260 miles on a tankfull. Geez! I guess I'm lucky! (Yes, I do run it hard, most of the time.)

i get about between 190-200 per tank that was past full to past empty and i believe the tank is 15 gal.

which means i get about 13 mpg, What was the orig gas mileage on the gt's

And I went from a 1.8vw to a 5.0ford theres a big difference in power

I am going to try and run some codes the website mentioned above should help me.

Also would a vaccum leak cause a drop in mileage?

Winter blend fuels have different additives to make it easier to cold-start, and that can reduce mileage. I get around 240-260 if I don't beat on it the whole time. That's with the stuff in my sig. Before any mods, I could get over 300 out of a tank with the stock 2.73 gears.
