When I turn the fan on, I get no air. I am assuming this is the blower motor. You can hear a quick noise behind the glove box when you turn it on, but nothing happens. This happened about a year ago and it all of a sudden started working agaig. Bad blower motor?
Check the fuse, then the switch, then the blower motor. If it works only on high speed there is a resistor pack that has several coiled resistor wires. If one of the wires break, then you lose one or more of the fan speeds.

If you have 12 volt power at both sides of the switch when it is in the run position, the switch is good. Be sure that the batteries in your voltmeter or DVM are good before you make any measurements.
Change the zoom level on your Internet browser to get a larger picture.
that happened to mine, one day it stopped working so i replaced with a newer blower motor and havent had any problems, it blows much more air now and quieter too(motor from an 86GT, not that it matters..)

Yeah pretty much determined it's bad. It started working again and died and made noise. $35.00 to replace and my time. We'll see what happens after I get the part.
i hate to bring back an old thread. but my heater/ac fan stopped working on the way home, i checked the fuse under that dash, where is the switch and motor? i couldnt really tell from the diagram above. also how hard is it to replace them?

Motor is behind the glove box. Pull the glove box out an it's in the black box to the right. Un-screw the screws and unbolt the motor, disconnect cable. To test the motor you can put power to it, if it turns, it's good.
