Well, bad luck comes in 3's right? Let's just say I'm hoping...
A few weeks ago I was pulling into the garage and got a little too close to the side of the garage and scraped the passenger side front fendor. I was deeply depressed, anyways.. Then, in waiting to take my car in to get it fixed, I decided to clean out my engine bay. Well, I must not have covered my alarm siren well enough and water crept under and shorted it out, setting it off. Oh, and did I mention my siren has a backup battery for which I didn't have the key for? So, it went off for a solid 10 minutes in the neighborhood while I managed to unbolt the thing and get it out. (At least I know the backup battery works, for about 2 hours!).
So, I replaced the siren, and just got my car back from the autobody yesterday. Beautiful job done I must say. However, driving home from work a huge stone my have gotten kicked up and hit my windshield! It's bubbled under and about the size of a quarter. Thank goodness my insurance will replace it for the $50 deductable... but come on!!! I hope my bad luck is over
