I've just joined after starting a project on my zinc yellow 2000 GT 5speed.
I've had this car for a few years and it has been sitting. The engine threw a rod bearing about 6 months after I bought it. I recently purchased a wrecked low mileage 2v from a 2007 Towncar. I've lurked forever, but finally have some questions to ask, so I signed up.
Right now the mustang is up on crib blocks and jack-stands as I finish unbolting all the stuff to pull the old engine. I've been taking some pictures, and If anyone is interested, I'll start a thread in the appropriate forum with the status as I go. I know there are a million swap threads, but I would be happy to address specific questions about the job if anyone has any.
As you can see from this picture, the poor car needs a bath and a bit more.
