Balancer

I ordered a 28oz balancer and have a ford flywheel sitting around that is 28.2oz. Will these two work together or will I need a new flywheel?

What engine are you using? Early 80's+ 302's are 50 oz. balance.

81 and older use the 28oz balance maybe 82, I forgot. 351's I believe use the 28 balance, as well as 331/347 strokers. If you're building a run of the mill 5.0 engine, you've got the wrong stuff, and need to get a 50 oz balance setup.

Sorry I should have said in the first post. I am building a 347 and it was recommended to run a 28oz imbalance. I was just wondering if a 28oz balancer and a 28.2oz flywheel are going to be the same?

yes they are the same. it will all work as long as the crank is 28oz, the flywheel is 28oz, and the balancer is 28oz.
