What's wrong with a set of 2-gauge pre-formed cables from Autozone? Just measure it out with a tape and buy the pre-formed lengths with the ends molded on there all nice n' purty. Works fine on mine, looks good, and as long as you're good about regularly keeping your terminals clean and gooped with silicone, they'll last darn near forever.

Think I spent about $30 tops for the both of mine...

That's what i'm sayin....i didn't realize there was such a huge need for battery cables The ones on that link do look nice though..i'd buy those before i'd buy Autozone cables.

I used all Marine Grade "Tinned" 2g cables with soldered ends and heat shrink wrapped for both negative and positive. I recommend this because this way you will probably never have to worry about it again. It takes a good amount of time to measure, cut, solder, and install every one so why not go with the best wire? The cost is over $100 but well worth it in my book.

The thread starter has a 95 GT.
I think the battery cables on these cars are crazy. All kinds of things connected to them. That`s why they cost so much.

Different than the fox body set up.

I just re-did all my cables on my 95 while the engine was out. Buy some welding cable and make your own. I think I might have $12 total invested in wire and connectors. The biggest PITA was taking the harness apart to the starter to replace that wire, because it also has the O2 sensor harness in with it, but if you take your time, it's pretty easy.
