What is the best way to locate something that is draining the battery. I recently hooked up my overhead console. I tapped in to the same wire that hooked to the radio for the clock that is always "hot". Was that a Bozo NO NO ? what should volt read ? Any idea's ? I am going to test the Battery tonight just to be sure that is not it. Any help is great.
thanks

I really don't want to cruise around with a jumper box in the back seat, but I will.

If you didnt have this problem before. Then unhook the wire and see if it goes away. Is there anything up there besides map lights? If not and they are not on I dont see how this is pulling the battery down?

Do the map lights work? If not, the the switches could be on all the time and you wouldn't know it. You could try pulling one fuse at a time to narrow down the problem. Let it sit overnight and see if you have eliminated the circuit with the problem. Check to see what works with the key off. Should it be working with the key off?
