Battery Light

I am getting an intermittent battery light flashing at me on my 02' GT. The owners manual says it's not charging the battery but the gauge says its got plenty of juice, anyone seen this before? Could my alternator be going bad?

Dude i have the same problem!!!!!!! it happens at random times, comes on and off, and my voltmeter stays exacly where it is. I work at Kragen so i had our minitune test everything and it was all coming up as good. I have and 01 GT with an alternator from and 02' GT. Man that things anoying as hell!!
OHH btw do you have underdrive pullies? I do> could that be it?
