Battery light

The other night I was out driving around, and my battery light popped on. The car ran for about 15 more minutes, and then it died. I towed it to my house, and changed the alternator. The light is still on and the battery is still not getting a charge from the alt. I am pretty frusterated, because it wold be nice to have my car for the long weekend. Any advice on what it could be please help thanks.

don't worry i have the same problem. i'm getting a new alternator and a grounding kit. i'll keep you informed.

we need info on your car.. what year is it?? is it a GT or a cobra???

Alternator...probably need a new battery now as well.

ya sounds like the battery took a dump after the alternator didnt charge it. i just had to get a new battery a few weeks ago. it sucked cause that same day i just bought that new Matco 1000ft-lb wuiet impact gun. i just got a DieHard Gold from my work for like $80.
