I have a 95 gt and I just relocated the battery to the rear, I wired the negative side to the quad shock brackets with 1/0 wire, then I ran the positive side to the starter with 1/0 wire, and ran the factory starter to fuse box wire and ran a 4 gauge wire from alternator to fuse box, and the factory negative battery cable I just grounded to the frame. I was out race after doing this and the battery light would start to glow around 3.5k rpm and by 5k rpm it was bright as day, and I could feel the car was down on power. The car starts and charges no problem, I'm just looking for ideas on what to try first, I'm probably going to pick up another 1/0 wire for the fuse box and also for another engine ground first, but does the 4 gauge alternator wire need to go to the battery or is it fine at the fuse box?
