Hello, This is my first post on this site so sorry for any errors. Hello, I am trying to replace the bolt for my battery terminal end and I have tried the bolts sold at Walmart and they are too thick for my terminal.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Most top post after market cable lead ends have coarse thread 1/4” or 5/16” square head bolts. The stamped steel ones vary.
Do you have enough of the bolt you are replacing to match it, or do you have one on the other terminal? Ace Hardware, the FLAPS or the farm store can get you a match then.

Some of the nuts are 12mm, others are 1/2 inch.
Cut the whole end off & get the post end that fits the size wire used.
You can see the clamp on the 2AWG negative wire.
