I have an '86 LX coupe factory 4 cyl blah blah blah. You know the how the rest goes, anywho I was wondering how streetable a coupe would be with a 429cj in it? I can get an engine for like 300.00 with the following ......... .030-.040 bore stock stroke, minor work to the heads (machine shop just cleaned them up)low rise stock intakeand what sounds like a pretty beefy cam, all still bolted to a c6 I think. For the engine to be fully opperational it needs a carb, lower distributor cup, oil pan for a fox, and the propper pick up tube. Sound good or should I stick with a small block?
