I was about to start the install on my CAI this afternoon, when I noticed that the pipe from the throttle body to the mass air flow sensor was really long. So long in fact that the only way I could put it on was if I relocated the MAF. My question is did anyone else have to relocate the MAF, or did they send me the wrong part?
Thanks,
Ray

you'll have to unbolt the mass air meter for it to fit right, most kits com with a new bracket to hold the mass air meter but they aren't much better, just let it hang

ya, the bracket is just more of a hassel. mine is fine. the MAF doesnt weigh much at all so it doesnt put any stress on the assembly. it'll be fine

I left my bracket out on mine too. Way too much trouble and UPR didn't have any instructions for the piece of bent metal they sent me I assume is a mount.
