I've never used BBK long tubes, but I haven't heard too many people having fitment issues with them either. As far as I know, it is only one header that has to be dropped to change the clutch. I'll give this a bump to the top and see if anyone else has more comments for you.

With most LTs the passenger side header has to be removed.. there are a few headers that are designed to avoid this though.. I think Kooks and Hooker are two.

i think fit on my BBK was okay. I really have no issues. But i have seen Bassani Mid-length at the Carlisle, and i've also seen SLP LT, Both of them are far better quality then that of BBK. I think with Bassani, u might be able to get it on without jacking motor up like that of BBK, as each pipe is separate. and I've heard that with SLP, its easier if u cut mid-section(about1/2" or so) of frange out. But who knows?
Only issue i'm having with mine is that i reused OEM gasket, and its leaking!!!!!!!!

Im not gonna screw around im just gonna throw some hookers on it and not worry about the clearance issues... Do hookers give good clearance to work on the starter as well????

I don't know about the starter. Thats a good question. Might want to email Hooker headers and find out for sure before you go investing in them.
