BBK Ceramic Coated Long Headers are rusting.
Is there anything that can be done?
Thanks

Thanks for all the help.
They look better now. But not perfect.
Some of the areas where more pitted than what the first picture shows, I guess.
I did break through some of the finish here and there.
Oh well, I'll keep at them and hopefully get some more years out of them.
Unfortunately, the car sat outside at the garage I was having work done at for two winters for quite a few months waiting for parts etc....

That's the " standard" Titainium ceramic they switched to vs chrome the used to sell them as...honestly its no better than high heat spray paint. The still offer the polish ceramic which holds up better to the scotch bite....... Some diluted drain cleaner on a rag will pull stains out of the polished " jet hot" like finishes..

I had BBK chrome shorties on the car forever. They never rusted.
If it's no better than high heat spray paint, I might just do that someday. What do you recommend for the paint product?
What's the ratio of the diluted drain cleaner? I'll try that.
Thanks
