dont waste your time/money on shorties.

and see, the funniest part of the post is the last comment - half the people there said mid length or LT's - he gets shorties anyways and isn't happy. Love having my helpful advice thrown out the window.

I got 5 RWHP and 7 lb/ft of torque out of my BBK shorty's

thats the same reason im getting them cause where i live it's getting harder to bribe someone to make it pass i had to put all the stock exhaust parts back on my brothers 5.0 and get ir retested just to pass the snifferand they checked to make sure that they were stock parts

I think he meant they stink as in the smell of new exhaust parts. Did he mean the shorties as a mod stinks? It sounds like he was actually happy.

he had something in his sig that led me to post that - but he must've changed it. oh well

Im going to do BBK shorties as well. Never having to worrie about emission testing, and anything is better than the stock manafolds. Even if they do only add 10RWH thats on a close to stock GT. Add cams heads and intake and im sure they will help even more.

I in a previous post that when installing shortie headers one of the ac line needs to be moved up to a diffrent location. Anyone heard of this. I know rocketman installed these on his car maybe he can answer this.
