Here are some pics, keep in mind the exterior of the car wasn't terrible but it wasn't nice either, the lack of light hides a lot.

Engine Bay After: (After months of sanding, and prep)

Exterior After:

Well there it is hopefully that will help your friend out.

This is my moneypit. The second pic is actually the BEFORE !!!!, it doesn't look bad...no visible rust right ? I was blissfully ignorant of what to look for in an old Mustang otherwise I'd have never bought. But made it through and I am very happy with it now.

66moneypit,
I like your choice of colors.
My 66 convertible is now green with tan interior as well.
it started life as a candyapple red with red interior.

66 newbie,
see link for before and after photos.
there is a picture of all the parts I scrapped within my pages.

I appreciate the compliments. The hunter green and tan interior go really well together. It's hard to see but it has a nice metallic flake in it. Red mustangs look nice but I just wanted something that wasn't the "typical" color. I am looking to put some different rims on it. Maybe some 80 spoke wire rims. I'd love to get my hands on some American Racing AR205 series but can't seem to stumble across any.
