I know my drawing skills aren't up to par but here's what it should look like.... Notice how the belt goes around the crank and water pump different. You don't even have to remove the smog pump to run this shorter belt.....
I got the 84.5" belt like is says and it was too long. I ended up with an 83.7" belt and it was just the right length. I'm not sure why but the engine came from a wrecked 93 GT and it could have an undersize crank pulley on it.
