best 3.55 gears for auto. GT

hi all,

what brand is best? lightest weight? price?

also, why was this not offered on auto. GT's?

I dunno...I went with Ford Racing 3.73s and am entirely happy with them.

use FRPP (Ford Racing) gears only. you will be much happier in the end!

FRPP, hands down the most consistant quality.

frpp for sure... i think since they are a ford part they may still be covered under warranty if they are professionaly installed. but ford racing gears are almost a direct swap... i do believe that you need to change the pinion depth with a shim tho...unless you want a whine

I doubt that the difference to 3.55s will be worth the cost.

What are you trying to accomplish?

yep, went 3.73 FRPP on my auto.

Don't fear the gear !
I put FRPP 4.10's in my '06 Auto. I have no regrets. I bought mine from 5.0 Resto, They had the lowest price
