Need a catback whats the best way to go.. got about $400 max to spend on it.. I dont have a welder so somthing that hooks up to the ball and socket factory connections is a must.... Stock H pipe for now but want a prochamber later... I want nice WOT and idle without nasty interior highway noise... how's the american thunder and force II compare?

I just ordered some 2.5" flowmaster tailpipes, some dynomax bullet mufflers and a bbk o/r xpipe and the mufflers are 80.00 for the pair , the tailpipes are 170.00 and the xpipe is 200.00. But if you have tailpipes on the car already then you can just buy the prochamber and the mufflers and have a muffler shop put them on. And all this should be under 400.00. Cat backs are just to high. But on most of them you do get stainless steel. Anyway I like the stock tailpipe look on the 94-98 cars.

Well I went here http://www.mustangupgrades.net/mustangcatbackexhaust/mustang_catback_exhaust.shtml listened to all of them! ordered the american thunder with stainless tips (my tips and tailpipes are in sad shape!) Its got to be better than the drone of no muffler on the passenger side and factory on the driver... I really liked the smooth deep sound of the flowmaster so hopefully it wont be bad.. I liked the stock exhaust note but it was to quiet...

Get the regular Magnaflows (non-magnapaks), great sound and not crazy loud, plus when you do a mid pipe they will get louder and sound ever better.

Macs stuff is great, with the pro-chamber. If you can find someone (good luck) getting rid of Borla catback stuff grab it fast.

That's a good deal but mine are brand new. I was just remarking since they're 500 dollars on most sites.
