A while back I did some calculations based upon numbers from a book called Four-Stroke Performance Tuning by A. Graham Bell.

155 _______________340 ______280
190 _______________420 ______340
255 _______________560 ______460
What this means is that with a 20% margin of safety you can run a 155lph pump up to 340hp if N/A and up to 280hp with boost.
I have not compared these numbers to those from any other source yet so I would be interested in getting feed back if anyone disagrees. The problem is this author lists one constant for all cars/brands of pump/ etc.
