What is the best motor oil for the 94-95. I have always used Mobil 1 full synthetic. I have 90,000 miles should I just stay with the Mobil 1 or are there better ones out there. I have always heard royal purple is good.

best filter out there is either the K&N or WIX filters... both use similar technology... they will give you clean oil for 4K miles! (not that you ever should, but it's nice to know you can...) as far as oil... my dad swears by Chevron Standard oil... personally, you can't beat the price (costco) and it seems to be just fine as far as a regular oil goes...

-just stay away from Fram, and Synthetic oils in our engines... other than that, just do what your heart wants... (but stay w/ a good filter :nice: )

I run Amsoil, with AMSOIL SDF filters... when you put regular filters side by side, you will notice a difference between the two.. The SDF filter is noticeably bigger, and is made from thicker gauge material like a K&N oil filter... Yes this stuff is expensive... but it helps when your a dealer, and get it at cost... :)

Don't even get me started on the trades we used to pull, when I worked at a small local hardware, and their was a Taco Bell accross the street.. Paint roller for a six pack of taco's was a common one... umm... burrito's for plumbing parts... umm... you get the drift...

I run Motorcraft oil..and filter
Hey I'm die hard Ford
Damn, I thought I was the only one. The Motorcraft FL-1A is the best filter around. I usually use regular old 10W-30 Castrol. For cars with under 100k on them, I don't believe that synthetic is the way to go. Actually, with cars over 100k, I'm still not a believer that synthetic is the way to go. But that's just me.

Nothing is technically wrong with running it, however some people believe that synthetic is the ONLY way to go. This is a very general statement when I say this, so don't take this really seriously, but, when it comes down to it - Oil is oil. The only time I would run synthetic oil is if it was a drag race only car, because some synthetics can better protect the car against the extreme heat the car produces in the short periods of time. I'm no professional, that is just my personal preference.

My Uncle runs a mid 11 second Grand National GNX, and he's used regular Valvoline his entire life, so I figure thats good enough for my grocery-getter :D

I dont know if any of you have a BJs Wholesale where you are, but their automotive section has rediculously low prices on oil, just throwin it out there.

i use the FL-1A EVERY time at 2500 to 3000 miles and use Castrol GTX 10w30 when I had my 93 with the ProCharger I always used the FL-1A and Kendall GT1 20w50

My 94 Has about 150,000 on it and It still runs very strong. New engine this spring.
