I've got a 66 2+2 but I think the 67 Shelby is the best of all. There are so many great ones that choosing only one is hard.

I've owned a '65 fastback and really loved the car's look. The shape of that rear window/roof area still looks great to me. But like some of the others here, the '67 Shelby looks nearly perfect to me. I wouldn't have gone through all the hassles of building a clone of one if it weren't my favorite.

I'd have to go with the original 65-66 versions, classic design that set the world on fire. However, all Mustangs are great IMHO.

My favorites are the '69-70 Shelby Mustangs. And, yes I know the '70's were re-VIN'd '69's with stripes and a front spoiler.
Next would be the Boss 351 in Blue with Argent accents.
The best looking engine award would have to go to the Boss 429.

All 1967 and the 1969 sportsroof/fastback models. I tend to leave out 1968 because of the funky reflectors on the quarterpanels, otherwise a good year.

If I had to pick one...1967 Shelby GT500!

I have owned mustangs and in my opinion the all have something that makes every car special in its own way

My firt one was a 1986 gt 5.0 ho, 5spd and 8.8 rear end

second one 1972 just had a v8 and auto tranny (I called It the pimp mobile)

Third one (Best Ever) 1965 2+2 VIN K 289 HIPO ENGINE 4 SPD TRANNY AND 9 INCH REAR END 3.50:1 GEAR RATIO BASICALLY THE FIRST IT HAD EVERYTHING THAT HAS THE 1966 GT 350

former one 1996 v6 convertible (pretty much stock)

next one 1969 fast back (future porject)

Well the Original Tech FAQ is stickied in Talk. So chit chat is fine in Tech.

Lot's of good info here at classic stangnet. Too bad it's so poorly moderated.

Well when they're done right I think many of the classics are beautiful. My favorite body style is the 67/68 fastback. Next is the 69 fastback.

I do think my 70 vert is pretty too, though.
