The wife and I went for a sweet cruise yesterday. Drove normal, 60-70mph, passed a few cars but other than that easy driving. Saw16.3 mpg Not too shabby for a big inch carbed windsor Best i've seen before that was 11.5 with spotty easy driving. Worst has been 8.6 Just fwiw.

I'd believe 16.3 is achievable. I used to get 16-18 mpg in my 1994 GT.

With the injected 302 H/C/I combo that made 300+ at the wheels the car got 17-20 around town and 24-26 highway. 580hp 418 with a 1000cfm carb 16.3,
