Best place for a Ground in the trunk ?

I still have all my interior trunk pieces and carpet. I was wondering wheres the best place for a ground in the trunk. I don't wanna pull all the pieces out if I know already where I want. Thanks in advance

i just took off the plastic cover that hides to latch for the trunk lock... if that makes since... its a pretty good ground and has worked for me

Personally, I'd drill a hole and put it on the frame under the car.

Does that area that hides the trunk lock have a screw or bolt so I can use a ring terminal ?

Or put a screw into the frame from the inside...I did that with my stereo in several spots...

And please, scratch any painted surface with a razor so the bare metal is showing, painted grounds suck! Just look at any 99-04 Core support by the hood prop! Painted Grounds FTMFW!!!

yessir i believe so....its been a while but im pretty sure it does.... check its no big deal, just pop those plastic bastards out

You didn't mention what the ground was for? I personally used the quad shock bracket bolt for my battery ground, since I relocated my battery to the trunk. No holes even need to be drilled, there's a couple grommets on the upper shelf where you can run cable through.
