I am just about ready to install the 9" rear end. I have all the ingredients, except for the axles. I am using a stock length 9" housing from a '69 stang.
Summit Racing and NPD have been incredible in the customer service department.
Picked up a nice set of Superior axles for my 8.8" from Summit. the only charge was a little under $9.00 for shipping. No freight charge. Don't know how that would work for BC though.
I put a set of Superior 31s from Summit into my 9 too. Buy new lugs at the same time, no point in trying to remove/re-use your old ones. I had the lugs pressed in and the bearings pressed on at the same time for $5/per axle.
