Well.....here are a few dealers in your state for starters.....

http://www.jbaheaders.com/dealerusa.asp

If you can't find a price you like for the JBA's, there are about a dozen other manufacturers that make them for 4.6L Mustangs. In both Shorty and Long-Tube.

Yeah, my friend who gave them to me for free
Sorry I can't give you any sites though, I didn't really research buying them...
I *DID* install my JBA shorties myself (and by myself for the most part), and I can tell you that (while a long ordeal) was worth the money saved

EDIT: Are you in the Navy? Master Diver?
HOO YAH!

Would ya happen to be in Coronado at the BUD/S compound?

If you pay anywhere near $600.00 for a set of JBA's I'll personally drive over there and kick you in the nuts. That's a crazy price for a set of run of the mill shorties. I paid $695.00 for my Kooks and they were "custom" build for my Cougar, mid-length and Jet Hot coated on top of that. Not to mention as far as quality goes, Kooks headers are the best of the best! I'd check out a set of BBK's for something a little more reasonably priced, because performance wise....a shorty header, is a shorty header.

Sacramento Mustang has stainless steel JBA Shorties for $489, but their titanium ones are $679. They have a special on shipping right now too, $6.95 for everything.

If you're going to buy from that site, I'd go with the Bassanis if I were you. A better header for starters (mid-length), a “true”ceramic coating and half the price to boot.

I'm sure the JBA's are nice, but the only advantage to a shorty header is suppose to be cost and fitament. The ease of installation is there, but the cost is crazy....especially when you compare it to other shorties of the same caliber. What's the extra money for....some fancy gimmick "titanium" finish.

It’s your money I suppose and if you really want the JBA set up, you’ll get it. But I could think of a lot better things to do with the money saved.

Yeah I have the JBAs but I came across a sweet deal. A local guy sold them to me for $100 bucks almost brand new. I would've gone with the LTs but it was such a good deal. The cheapest I've seen them was a little over $400. If I had to pay that price I don't think I wouldve bought them. All of the shortys pretty much flow the same. I don't think that price justifies the performance though. Get you some Mac LTs and either have them coated or throw you some exhaust wrap on them.....just my .02

There is a guy on corral.net selling some for $250. Probably could get him to go down a little cheaper also. Worth a shot. Anyways $250 ain't bad.

I think you can get the JBA right from this site.

check ebay as well.

I think when I was looking around is was about $500 uncoated and then $600 or so for the coatings. they are stainless though so the coating is not coumpletely nesseary. I think they are 409 so they would discolor but you don't see them.

I would look at the bassani mid lenght. way better power curve and about the same money.

Sound Clip

JBA Shortys Installed with Spintech catted X-pipe, Percy Gaskets

The sound is alot more aggressive compared to stock and it may be psychological but It fells like I got some gains.

Anyway, the tone makes me want to get on.

Dyno at http://www.dynoperformance.com/ next week (dynoday); we will see.

As far as posting sound clips whats best drive by, rev in driveway, obviously I need to video the dyno at min. Im sure comptuer sound bits dont really hale to real time.

Thanks DPR

Paid 270 for the bbks. Much longer individual headers than the JBAs or the Ford Racing junk. Still waiting for my mechanic to install them.
