Right Now in Toronto Ontario the price for gas is thru the roof 91 octane is 2.00 a liter and 94 octane is 2.05 a liter thanks Mr. Trump.

Oil is bought from Canada and is piped into the US as well as piped to the Canadian west coast and loaded on ships so Canada has oil. Is it more along the lines of Canada does not have enough refining capacity and well just likes to tax the piss out of their citizens?

Price at the pump is based on world price not where it comes from. There is a certain someone creating all kinds of havoc in the world around oil. Those activities bumped the price.
Why is he doing this... to help his buddies in the oil industry make more money.
I live in eastern Ontario and price here is a bit lower, but 20 minutes away in northern New York the price is actually slightly higher than it is here. Today its $1.50 CDN per liter and across the border its $4.19 US per gal. (both for regular 87 octane). 91 octane is typically $0.20 per liter more and 93/94 is usually another $0.15-0.20 per liter on top of that.

Gas prices here have been steadily falling for the last 4 weeks.

It's been over several times but the IRGC negotiates in bad faith. Perhaps you should try negotiating with those who only negotiate in bad faith and let us judge you.

Last week 91 octane was 1.70 a liter now week later its 2.00 a liter looks skyrocketed to me just saying.

3.09/gallon here. Welcome to Oklahoma where we actually drill for oil and refine it. Yes I know the industry I have worked in it for 20+ years. Speculators should be shot on sight as all they do is price gouge when the inventories are no where near what I would call low and waaaaay away from panic.
The world sends crude to the Gulf Coast and has it processed and then back offshore goes the refined petroleum products. Its all about a free market so when other countries are willing to pay more our prices go up. I wish it was as easy as taking a more America first attitude with the refined products and use the capacity that is left over for anyone else but that is not a free market.
know we are no where near max rates moving refined products across the US so that just tells me the demand is either not there or there is not enough product which the inventories are not showing so its demand. Demand is driven by price and time of year. If the price is low everyone drives and when its high we all have to think about taking that trip. Time of year is holidays and such so think spring break, beginning of summer, going back to school, fall break, Christmas, and rinse and repeat.
Temporary pain for long term gain is the plan.

If I were all that concerned about it, I would not be driving a Mustang, and a 3/4 Ton GMT800, and a Gen2 V.
