after a long time building up my frontend, the weather had turned my rotors and studs a bit rusty. I was wondering what the best / quickest way to get them cleaned up while still on the car. They are relatively new, and I dont want to see rusty parts through my nice new wheels.
65stanger is right, however if you want to prevent them from rusting when you are going to be working on the car a long time... simple spray or wipe a thin coat of oil on them.
If you want to stop, you will need to remove all oil residue from the rotors before the pads touch them.
