What's the best subframe connector on the market? Please explain why you think it is.

I've been checking out Steedas full lengths. They come with a torque box reinforcement, for a decent price. If not MM or KB make good stuff.

I was also looking at the steeda's due to the torque box reinforcement, but didnt know if the MM ones had this option as well. I also need to know what coating to get because I hear if you get the black powdercoat, when they are installed, you have to grind a little off to weld, and that just seems like a waste of money to me. Someone else chime in.

Yeah. Even if your buy the zinc plated ones you still have to paint over the welds. I'll get the normal ones.

I'd kinda lean toward this setup, if you're talking the best...

Steeda full length zinc plated or Maximum Motorsports black powdercoated I think I'll go with MM full length powder coated. The only reason I've got is powder coating is cool.

MM Full Length. I like them because of the cross brace that bolts into the seat brackets. Makes a big difference in handling and took out a lot of the squeaks and rattles.

i wonder how hard it would be to work on your tranny or if anything happened to your driveshaft.

I have the MM ones and like them a lot. I felt a pretty noticable difference while going over rough sections of the road and while turning....the car just felt a lot more solid. A bunch of little squeaks were eliminated also.

Shouldn't be a problem. The "X" portion of the brace sits behind the tailshaft.

Thanks...Mike

I got the new Steeda Full length and the difference in ride quality is sooo much better. The car goes smoother over bumps and corners much better and most of the sqeeking on my car is gone.
